Summer 2022 - Online Children & Teens Summer Camps

This Summer, give your child the opportunity to learn French remotely!

Join us this Summer to give your child the opportunity to learn French remotely, wherever they're spending their Summer vacations. Teachers will be using a wide range of learning materials in order to help your child discover the Francophone world in all its diversity. All lessons will be conducted in French, so your child can learn new words and expressions every day.

• Children aged 6 to 11 will be learning mostly through playful activities, songs and games;
• Pre-teens and Teenagers will learn through project-based activities and authentic audio-visual resources;  
• Special programs will be proposed to children and teens from Francophone families to enrich their vocabulary and give them to opportunity to practice French on a daily basis even if they're spending the Summer in the US rather than visiting their relatives abroad. - Les programmes spéciaux proposés aux enfants et adolescents Francophones tiendront compte de leurs compétences plus élevées en Français et leur donneront la possibilité d'enrichir leur vocabulaire en pratiquant le français tous les jours pour aborder divers sujets, même s'ils passent tout l'été aux États-Unis.

Join our online camps for 1h30mn per day from Monday to Friday (Except on July 4 when AFW is closed).

Children will be grouped with other attendees based on their level and age. If your child has never attended AFW classes before, a placement test will be required.

Each group will have a maximum of 6 children/teens. A minimum of 4 children/teens enrolled is required to confirm the program.

Summer Camp for Children aged 6 to 11:

• Week #1 - June 27 to July 1 - from 9.45am to 11.15am
• Week #2 - July 5 to 8* - from 9.45am to 11.15am
• Week #3 - July 11 to 15 - from 9.45am to 11.15am
• Week #4 - July 18 to 22 - from 9.45am to 11.15am
• Week #5 - July 25 to 29 - from 9.45am to 11.15am

*Only 4 days week - registration for Week #2 costs $155 per child.

Summer Camp for Pre-teens and teenagers:

• Week #1 - June 27 to July 1 - from 2pm to 3.30pm
• Week #2 - July 5 to 8* - from 2pm to 3.30pm
• Week #3 - July 11 to 15 - from 2pm to 3.30pm
• Week #4 - July 18 to 22 - from 2pm to 3.30pm
• Week #5 - July 25 to 29 - from 2pm to 3.30pm

Camp d'été pour enfants francophones :

• Semaine #1 - du 27 juin au 1er juillet - de 11h30 à 13h
• Semaine #2 - du 5 au 8* juillet - de 11h30 à 13h

Camp d'été pour préados et ados francophones :

Enrollment for multiple weeks:

As the curriculum and themes are different each week, your child may enroll to our Summer Camps for more than one week and would benefit from a longer immersive program. An extra $10 discount per week is available for each child registering after the first week.
E.g., for a child enrolling for 5 weeks of camp:

Siblings, families & friends discounts:

Plus on est de fous, plus on rit ! As we know children enjoy learning with their siblings, cousins or friends, a discount is available for anyone enrolling at least 2 children in the same group and at the same time. This discount is not available if children are enrolling on different weeks or at different times. While the first child enrolled will pay the full price, other children registering at the same time will each benefit from a $10 discount per week.

This discount for siblings, families and friends is also available when children are enrolling for multiple weeks.
